Company History 

Consulting by Sandra Tovar, Inc. d/b/a CST, Inc. was incorporated in November 1994 as a consulting business serving apparel companies that imported under the special trade agreements such as 9802, NAFTA, AGOA, and special Caribbean Trade programs. The recordkeeping is intense to substantiate the preferential duty treatment and CST, Inc. believed companies needed to understand the importance of knowing the expectations of U.S. Customs & Border Protection.

Our background and experience is in the brokerage and apparel business, specializing in special programs offering duty concessions. Most of the consulting is concentrated in the apparel business, however, other products qualify for some of the same trade acts and information can be provided to any importer using these special programs.

CST, Inc. began customs brokerage operations in Atlanta in June 1996. We have all the necessary electronic connections with U. S. Customs and Food & Drug Administration (ABI, ACH, Reconciliation, Remote Filing, ACE and PMS).

GOAL

Our goal is to provide an excellent service at a fair price. We are more involved in our clients importing activities than most brokers. We have the importer’s point of view because of the owner and some of the staff members have previously worked for importers.

OWNERSHIP

CST, Inc is wholly owned by Sandra Tovar. The corporation is a C type corporation and is good standing with the States of Georgia and North Carolina.

Our headquarters is located at 500 Lanier Ave., West, Suite 901, Fayetteville, GA 30214. This office is located about 13 miles south of Atlanta airport. The Charlotte office is located at 3101 Yorkmont Rd., Suite 2200, Charlotte, NC 28201.
